On Sunday November 6,2016, members of the Hunterdon County Foam Task Force performed a large volume foam drill at High Bridge. Foam techniques are used on large hydrocarbon fires. The foam, which is transported to the scene in concentrate, is mixed with a water stream, which form foam bubbles at the nozzle tip. The foam, sits on top of the oil and smothers the fire. Hunterdon County has a task force distributed throughout the county with dedicated trailers of foam. Seen here is Oldwick supplying concentrate to the foam attack trailer.
