As in past years, the Oldwick Fire Company will be on James Street, serving hot dogs on Halloween. James Street will again be closed to traffic, for the safety of our trick or treaters.

Halloween October 31, 2016
On Monday October 31st, members of the Oldwick Fire Company served hot dogs, hot chocolate and cider to trick or treaters in front of the old fire house on James Street. The fire company, with township approval, closed off sections of Oldwick to motor vehicle traffic for trick or treater safety. DUring the festivities, an outdoor fire pit spread to the homeowners front lawn, As the house was 100 feet from the fire truck, it was one of the fastest response times of the Oldwick Fire Company. Assistant Chief Jim Conner jr and junior firefighter Tyler Priece are on scene.

Bonfire at the Oldwick Fire House held on January 30 2016
Thanks to all who placed last years Christmas trees on the pile in the field next to the firehouse. A good time was had by the many who attended to share in the nights activities On January 30. The bon fire was postponed one week due to the 30 inches of snow enjoyed by Oldwick on the original date of January 23rd.
